I’m not usually an advocate of positive thinking. It feels forced a lot of times. Whether it’s me or I hear someone else thinking “positively”.
I only think this way because I faked it for at least 30 years. And it did a number on my health and sanity. We have to be truthful with ourselves and how we feel BEFORE we can really find happiness. Out of the darkness into the light. It’s a process, you know?
But positive thinking has a lot of benefits when you’re looking to reach for your stars. Or at least survive a day surrounded by cranky people. And also…when you really want a new job.
